The Emperor Collection features cigars named for some of history's most iconic rulers and is El Septimo's first series focused on Connecticut wrappers. Offered here is the Augustus Connecticut cigar, named in honor the first Emperor of Rome and his efforts to stabilize and expand the Roman state. The box is inscribed with what El Septimo says is an Italian translation of Augustus' last words "Acta est fabula," or, in El Septimo's translation, "the battle is not over." The cigar itself is an undisclosed blend, encased in a Connecticut-seed wrapper and offering rich, creamy smoke.
