La Flor Dominicana offers the perfect combination of strength, smoothness and complexity with the Colorado Oscuro. Rather than simply being an all-out powerhouse, the Colorado Oscuro uses Nicaraguan Habano wrapper housing a meaty blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco that brings forth an underlying sweetness that you usually don't find in a lot of full-body cigars. Notes of spice, leather, and espresso permeate the palate, and while not as strong as other LFD options, it is still not for the novice smoker. With limited production yearly, make sure to stock up when they're available.
